Accelerator cable
I have noticed that it is quite hard to push the accelerator down on my 95 850 wagon. My housemates 93 model has a very light and smooth feel to it.
I am sure that this is making my cruise control all jerky as well.
Do I just use powdered graphite to lubricate it? I wanna try that before replacing it.

Figure out what is the point of friction first. You may want to disconnect the linkage at the throttle body and try moving the cable linkage then the throttle plate and see which is hard. Go from there.
Or you might want to use regular oil depending on where it's binding.
Disconnect the cable at the throttle body and see if it's the throttle plate in the throttle body that's hanging up or if it's the cable itself. To lube a cable they usually remove the cable from the vehicle, hang it up and poor oil down it.

I have recently cleaned and lubed all the throttle body stuff. My throttle body was disgusting and I thought that might fix it, but it didn't. I have also lubed the pivot point on the accelerator pedal as well. My next job is the cable itself.
