My son has a 1996 Volvo 850 that he just bought. It does not have factory keyless entry-no control module behind glove box. I have installed a keyless entry/alarm system for him.(Scytek Galaxy G20) Everything seemed great-fob locked and unlocked doors. alarm armed, and went off when door opened. As I was getting ready to finish-I found that if all doors were closed and system was armed/doors locked with fob--the fob will disarm alarm, but will not unlock doors. I have to use key to unlock-then with door open, lock and unlock both work on fob. The ONLY(but the most important) time unlock does not work is when doors are locked, and alarm armed with key fob. Any help would be appreciated-I am racking my brains, and it is driving me crazy!!!!

I read that earlier-but since mine will unlock with fob unless locked/armed with fob, it did not help much. Thanks for the link, tho.
