Hi guys, i just wanted to know if there is an aftermarket muffler (just the muffler...without all the other piping) that can go on my 850 GLE (base engine..N/A)? i just changed the cat. (with universal one), and i noticed i still got quite a bit of rattling..i think it's the muffler. I was thinking of getting a new one installed. Cut out the one there and weld on another one..any brands that can work well? i need a muffler with the baffles in it.thanks

You might just want to get a cheap one that is baffled.
You could also look into a Magna flow that is baffled. But that will give you a little more noise.

 

Hey Tech..ya i was thinking of doing that..cutting off the one there and putting on another one (aftermarket)...i don't want something that is too noisy either...any brands you recommend? thanks

Most of the ones I know of make it louder. Maybe someone else will have some quite ones to add.

I usually like Flow Master,Magna Flow and a few other ones but they are louder ones.
