I have just fitted an aftermarket alarm to my 94 850 estate and everything is working fine apart from the central locking. I have wired it all in and it unlocks fine the problem is when I want to lock the car, I press the arm button and the central locking wont lock unless the boot is unlocked but then it locks the doors but not the boot. When the boot is locked to start with the doors wont lock.
The car hasnt got remote central locking as standard hense why I fitted an aftermarket alarm with remote central locking.

Does anybody know whats causing my problem??

Forgot to mention, before fitting the alarm when I unlocked the doors the boot stayed locked but when I unlocked the boot all the doors unlocked aswell

The boot stays locked or unlocks with the others dependent on what position you remove the key.

 

I have read that but the key i use to unlock the boot will only remove in the horizontal position, i cant get it to remove in the horizonal position. I know its the master key i have as it operates the glovebox lock.
