Default Ambient Temperature Light

My Ambient Temperature Light went on.

First off, what does this mean? Or what does the Ambient Temperature refer to?

And what could be a possible fix/problem?

I'm assuming that you're reffering to the little red light inside the snow flake...

This means that it's cold out and that you should be careful because local cold spots that the temp guage doesn't pick up on quickly could be icy. I think the threshold is about 38F

^Thanks. I noticed the light come on and didn't know what it was.

God, MN sucks. It started snowing today.

It is COLD.

Edit: It's not in the snow flake. It's in the very bottom of the intstrument cluster and is a red light. But according to the online owners manual, it's the ambient temperature light.

Oh yea... 850s don't have the snow flake the 70 series does, but I'm talking about the light next to the clock/trip computer.

Yeah I saw on the news that it's getting cold up north. I got sent to Texas this week where its nice and sunny.
