Volvo 850 Made from 1993 to 1997, this Volvo line was available in both a wagon and a sedan, both with were graced with several trim levels.

Anyone ever replace a ac unit on a 93 850 glt?

Default Anyone ever replace a ac unit on a 93 850 glt?
Mine siezed up and broke the pulley off.I have a replacement but just want a little help(Chilton don't cover replacing in it).I know to start with the top down.I just replaced the alt about 3 months ago.Any help would be appeciated!

I'm sure many have. Start by getting the system vaced and all the freon removed. Get a couple of rubber corks to plug lines as you take them loose to reduce system contamination.
