I'm on the fence as to whether or not to pull the trigger on buying this car. Owner says in auction that car will start consistently with a clutch pop from a roll but inconsistently from the ingnition and is temperature sensitive. Ignition start more likely if cold. I immediatly think start, relay, PNP switch and such, but owner says Dealer is stumped with repair. Don't want to be stuck with a no start mystery car, anyone have any advice. New to forum to get advice from the experts!!!

could be a bad engine coolant tempature sensor.

Does not sound like a bad deal.
I would guess bad starter. You can hook up a light for testing to figure it out.
