I have a 1995 850 GLT. I replaced the heater resister and the blower works fine. However, I only get heat on the right side. The left side always blows cold air. Any ideas on what's wrong?

 

Is it ECC or MCC
ECC electronic climate control. Do you have AUT on the fan and temp controls?
MCC Manual climate control just has colors for the temp settings.

 

It is MCC.

 

Has anyone had the dash out?

 

I took the glove compartment out a few months ago to replace the resister. Otherwise, I don't know of any of the rest of the dash being out.

 

There is a cable from the **** to the climate box.
If you remove the drivers side lower dash panel and look up you should see the cable.
Move the **** and watch the cable. I would say either the cable slipped or the panel where the **** is broke.

 

Take Tech's advice. I had a different model car that had the same problem a few years ago and it was a slipping damper door cable.
