Blower Motor Resistor?

Blower Motor Resistor?
Ok, ok, I know.... you've probably already had this question....but I honestly did search, and I read and read and didn't quite find the answer, so here goes....
It's 5 below Zero (F) today in Denver, bone chilling cold.... running the heater full-blast it just stopped.
I've got the MCC system.
I replaced the blower motor and the resistor last year with parts that I pulled from a salvage yard (needed a new motor and the resistor that i found was in better shape so I went ahead and replaced both).
It won't work on any of the settings 1-2-3-4 - none.
Fuses are fine in the engine bay.
I'm thinking it's the resistor since it won't work on any setting.
When I use the switch now I can here a buzz (like something moving) when I turn the switch from 0 to 1 - and when I switch back to 0 I can hear the buzz again (like it's moving back). This is probably the switch and it turning some door to open and close the vents. So my switch is good I suppose.
Thanks for the help. Now I have to deal with this in the cold.

RE: Blower Motor Resistor?
When I replaced it last year, it was making some squealing noises - then is stopped. Replaced it, and this "new" one (got it from salvage parts) would make the sequel (very slightly) when it was really cold out.
To continue my current situation....
2 days later... the blower works again!
Strange. Maybe it "un-seized"?
