Question Boost gauge installation on Volvo 850

I purchased a boost gauge from eBay a few days ago and it arrived yesterday. It has 3 features, boost, volts, and AFR. It is a digital gauge and I have 2 questions about the installation...

1a. It looks like the AFR has a wire that is suppose to be wired into the o2 sensor. Is it even worth hooking that up or is it just a light show?

1b. Which o2 sensor white should it be spliced into?

2. Since the gauge is digital, can it be dimmed or will it be one brightness all the time?

The gauge was pretty cheap and has a transmitter from the boost sensor to the gauge (small wire harness).

[Boxpin] the AFR readout is critical if you decide to up your engine power when it comes to tuning, change fuel pressure, change the turbo, change injectors, anything performance related will change how the engine runs. I use mine constantly to send logs for updated tunes for more power, could not do it without it.

1b. Which o2 sensor white should it be spliced into?
[Boxpin] the AFR gauge does not work with a standard O/2 sensor, it uses a wideband Bosch sensor with a special air calibration tang on it.

Example (although I think this one if for Innovate)

2. Since the gauge is digital, can it be dimmed or will it be one brightness all the time?
[Boxpin] Yes, it should have a designated wire that will cause it to dim or a photo sensor that will cause it to dim.

I would suggest you track down the model number and find a wiring diagram. Better safe than sorry if you burn something up trying to figure it out.

I have the gauge installed. This is how I hooked it up.
