Default Boost lag and boost levels after timing belt swap

So I just did my timing belt yesterday and we noticed that the belt was stretched and assumed the timing was out because of that. After fighting with the belt we finally got it on and in time. Now the car boosts higher but i still have lots of lag till 2500.and then you can feel the turbo kick in.

Will adjusting the waste gate arm fix the low end boost? I went from a max boost of 2/3 over on the factory gauge to 3/4 over. Could this be attributed to the new, not stretched belt?

I'm not complaining about the extra power. the car had a real punch before when it was out of tune, now it's crazy - just not off the line.

probably has more to do with it being timed correctly now.

more power is nothing to complain about.

I agree but will the waste gate arm adjust fix the low end lag?

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of power that came back after the new belt! Now I can flog the crap out of it and only worry about the transmission going!

It might bring the boost in a little but earlier.

Sounds good, I'll try to adjust it this coming weekend.
