Default Bosch Platinum Plus Spark Plugs

Opinions?

I got a set of 5 for my 96 Volvo for real cheap. Cheaper than the OEM's from FCP Groton.

I havent installed them, and I know most of the time OEM's are best bet...just wondering if anyone has anything to add regarding these plugs specifically - Good or Bad.

Thanks -

I ended up returning them and bought VOLVO plugs from FCP. Anyone noticed a big change in mileage afer replacing the following:

Fuel Filter
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor

If so which made the biggest difference? I've read on another board that people were getting over 30mpg normally. Im only getting 18-20 I think.

I also ordered 5 Bosch Platinum plugs (2 prongs), but I read on matthewsvolvosite.com that there have been users having problems with them. Check this thread out:

I decided to play safe, and going to return them. Just going with the standard copper plugs and gap them, as they work just fine.

FYI - get the OEM plugs, made by Volvo. They're like $12 for the set from FCP, they are MADE FOR OUR VEHICLES, and they come pregapped. They have a few prongs...3 if I remember correctly. They're different from any other plugs I've seen.
