Default Brake Light Indicator

Hi all

Noob question here, but you guys might be able to help. The car is a 95 850 T5. A few days ago, I noticed that the Brake Light Indicator goes on when I hit the brakes. I went ahead and changed the bulbs. Bulbs work fine now, unfortunately, the indicator still goes on when I hit the brakes . The T5 is working great with no braking problems at all. The indicator is just driving me nuts though

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that light supposed to go away after I change bulbs? Or should I do a reset? Thanks

You are probably short on brake fluid. So check fluid level and add accordingly.
Very curious, what bulbs did you change ?

Thanks for the reply blackbrick. Everything's fine now. Brake fluid is in the green and so are the bulbs. I've replaced all brake bulbs with Volvo specs. A bit of stupidity on my part, I failed to notice that the 3rd brake light bulb was also replaced with a defective one.
