Volvo 850 estate. If the brake light switch fails to activate the rear lights would it also fail to deactivate the cruise control or are they separate as I've no rear lights but cruise control works or have I got a broken wire somewhere all brake lights have failed including the ones on the rear door
just found the problem. The car was taken for MOT by my local garage
m​​​​​ot tester failed it for no brake lights and issued a dangerous defect do not drive I've just had the car returned to find all brake lights working he obviously tried the brakes without the engine running
