Default Break pedel vib. ABS?

I recently replaced my ABS module. ABS/TRAC lights went off and everything seems great. My question is before I replaced the module I would notice a vibration intermittently coming from my break pedal. After searching these threads it seems like the most common answer was a self diagnostic check after each start up. Since the ABS replacement that no longer happens. How would I know if the ABS module is actually working not just turning off the ABS/TRAC lights? I could cram on the breaks at 40mph. Should I feel a pulse or any indicator that I'm not running on standard breaks? 96 glt 93k.

Mine does not pluseate, nor did any other Volvo I had. If the light is out, it works, if you want to test it, you'll need to do it on wet pavement or snow.

Good enough! Thanks for the input rspi! Did the pulse on the breaks mean the ABS module was faulty along with the ABS/TRAC lights being on. Iv'e read alot the inter mitten pulse on breaks in this forum was a diagnostic check for the ABS.
