Default Bulb failure light

Hi,

So I posted a few months ago with my 95' volvo 850. Since than, I installed a new timing belt, two new CV joints, and a slew of other things. But recently, I replaced the rear trunk support struts and one of which burst, leaking oil all over the rear brake light assembly. I smelled something electrical a few days ago and figured it was a relay. Since than the idiot light on the dash comes on when ever I use the brakes. I replaced all the bulbs, the brake lights seem to function properly, but the idiot light still comes on.

I'm wondering if I need to replace the bulb sensor relay?

Kind Regards,
Jon

Could be I would open the sensor up and inspect it.
I believe it is in the rear drivers side like under the side floor panel. It should be Blue.

Hrm... I tore up the trunk this eve, but didn't find it... I'll snap some pix tomorrow. This is driving me crazy. It's a wagon, not the sedan... I found a black device, when I disconnected it, the car locked it's self, so I'm thinking that is NOT it :-)

Ok... So I found the lil blue box... its under the right side trunk lining, sorta hidden under a support beam for the car its self. But that was not the issue, it was functioning properly. The issue was the center brake light bulb was out. I'm a retard :-p
