Default burning smell

A few months back i changed by turbo on nmy 94 850. Once in a while when im on the highway and using the turbo I will smell a bad smell, only when using the turbo it seems. My cat is fine, pcv was done a while ago. The turbo is not leaking or anything, any reasons why this is happening and any fixes?

thanks all

How are your cam seals and the rear main seal? My main seal is leaking and I can smell oil when the revs get higher.

what is involved in checking the main and cam seal?
better yet are these manageable tasks without pulling the engine?

For the camseals you don't need to take engine out, but you do need to drop the transmission if the problem is with the main seal.
To check the camseals - look on the top sides of the engine. Basically if you can see oil anywhere on the engine it's bad.
To check the main seal - that's tricky. You have to look under the car.
Are there any drops of oil on the ground when you park it overnight?
