ok helo all first off, good to be back , ok down to buisness. the car runs perfectly and shifts as long as the turbo doest kick in when the turbo stasrts the kick in it whines but the car bogs and dosent shift and sounds like its just reving and boging. i thionk its the actuator with the red yeloow and gree marking on it that the air lines are hooked to becacuse when disconected the turbo spine wines up but the car dont go no where just bogs and revs. pleeeease some one helpme firgure this out , I want to to purchase a preformance 3" exast pipe system with catback a moded ecu and maybe a manual boost gauge and ks. is the ecu edbu11 or 1 (dont know) on this car there is 2 ecu's which one do i send in to be chiped but first id like to take care of my first main problem . im in washington /oregon and theres only one shop that works on volvos and i think hes extremely prices 100 an hour so id like to take care of some things my self this forum has been really helpfull so far working on my car by my slef so thank you all . thank you, thank you, thank you for any helpi nput and what ever you can add

 

If you can buy an aftermarket boost guage and a MBC and install them and see if it changes.
Also check all the intercooler hoses.
If you can have the hood open and CAREFULLY have the e-brake on and have someone boost the car while in gear with the FOOT ON THE BRAKE. Watch the intercooler hoses and see if they collapse or have a hole in them.

Found the problem yesterday a peice of somkind of bird maybe pegeon got sucked up into the air intake blocking the air mas flow indicator , i replaced the intake;removed the boxwith a streight shot hose and filter. runingbetter than ever now. just have to figure out why the coolant light keepsgoing on and off. I ordered a sensor that hooks up to my laptop to diagnose it and going to pick up a mb controller today. Id like to get my hands on theidp softloader program if any one can upload it to me I would be very greatfull. ipd is near where i live think ill go down there and bring my ecu's and buy an exast/down pipe from them allthough i dont think i can since its just there factory wherehouse.
