Last Wed I was at the Local WRX meet here in orlando and saw the 08 WRX.
Not really my cut of tea though. I like the older ones. Wish I could afford one but to much over my head.
The wife works with them all day long but still can't get a good enough of a deal.

O-well maybe later in life (Yah right) LOL

When it was in great shape it would take down 600cc bikes on the highway.

Then a bad tune and a cracked intake manifold blew out a ringland and it has been down since.
Awesome performance, too bad about the engine trouble.

I would also put a wing there, specially being AWD. In theory that rear down pressure should help traction and stability at high speed.

The thing I hate about Imports is that next to European cars, they make your European car look like junk.

But if you put an import in a European scene, then it's the opposite.

The car is very stable at speed without the wing (cruising at 150mph). With the wing it is stuck to the ground (lower plane effective at 80mph and upper plane effective at 120+), but not neccessary for road use. On the track the wing is importiant (the vertical sections help stableize the rear around turns too), hence the reason that I use plugs when it is off, and have the option to put it back on. The other down side of the wing is that everyone wants to race me with it. Without the wing I get about 1/4 of the attention.

The stickers are for sponsors (personal and corporate) for the AKA Rally (www.akarally.com).
