Car won't shift from first.
I just had my PNP switch replaced because my reverse lights didn't turn on.
A few days later (this morning) the car won't shift out of first, and the transmission arrow on the instrument cluster is flashing.
Should I take it back to the repair man or do you think it might be a lose connecter.

I would take it back. A little awkward to get to and you paid for the repair so let him deal with the hassle of checking it out. May just be slightly out of adjustment. There is a tool for lining it up but it is not neccesarily needed.
Good luck,
Rob

Thanks rob, while trying to figure out how to get it to the repair shop without towing it, I was driving it around the block in different gear modes etc, and the transmission started working again. Now it shifts and the orange arrow is off, but the check engine light is on.
Probably a stored error code that it wants an OBDII to turn off, back to the mechanic anyway I guess.
