Cd Changer and radio question
The antenna connection in my radio has a shot so the radio goes off iff i hit a pot hole. I changed the wires and it still happens. It seems that the connection inside after u plug the wires in is loose. can that be fixed by an electronic shop.
I also bought a pioneer 12 disk CD changer but I need the connector pin for the back of the radio where can I get that. Thanks for ur help

RE: Cd Changer and radio question
The loose connection is unlikely to be the antenna. My guess is that you have either a bad (loose) ground or a broken power circuit. I went thru the same thing with my Saab, and was unable to fix it until I removed the radio, disassembled it, and cleaned and reinsethed the connectors and wires; and then I did the same thing for the wiring chassis connectors.
It can be done. In the Saab access was pretty good once the dash electronics were removed. I don't know about how the Volvo space and wiring issues work out.
