95 850 Wagon

Fact: 5th door lock does not open with central locking, it does close all doors when operated by key, I believe the lock needs to be changed. Normally central locking works great.

At times it gets erratic, while driving if I hit a rough road all doors lock on their own (which never happend in the past and I do not believe is a feature of this model unlike a lot of American cars). At times when I unlock the carit automaticallylocks back again immediately, this can happen a couple of times at a stretch. Sometimes the central locking locks up and normally the 5th door lock helps to unlock.

I am not even talking about the fob not working and I am fine with that.

Any help will be appreciated.

 

Does the alarm ever go off when you try starting the car and the doors lock?

 

Not every time.

I just keep trying to unlock after it automatically locks, usually after a couple of attempts it stays unlocked.

One time the alarm did go off but that was when the doors were not properly locked.

 

Maybe run a Temp ground wire from the battery to the engine and one from the engine to body and see if that helps.
