Default Changing gas guage sending unit + Rack and Pinion.

So these are the last 2 big boys i have to do on my car before its basically completely ready.

I have heard that in order to change the fuel sending unit ( tech has already talked to me about this one) that i must drop the tank and in order to do that i must drop the rear subframe (huge job, and bolts always break is what ive heard)

the easy way is to cut a hole in the floor (where and how big?)

and the rack and pinion i found a nice write up to do it.. but i just dont want to spend the 300$ to buy an new one and want to tell you about it.

I thought there was an access panel to get to the fuel pump and sender. I know there was one on my 850.

As for the rack, see if you can get a rebuilt one.
