chipmunks under the hood

upped the boost (14.5 psi) and installed a new 3in obx exhaust and now im getting boost surge. the one in the turbo looks really small. is it better to get a "T" boost pipe and install an aftermarket one?

You will get some boost surge with the 3 inch DP. That being said, if it is as bad as you are saying, you may have the MBC connected incorrectly.
