What is the least expensive way for me to reset the trouble codes on my 850? I am trying to track down the cause of a problem in the evap system and would like to be able to reset the check engine light without having to bother a friend to come over and reset it for me with his $$$$$$$$$$$ Snap On reader. I understand that resetting the service light cannot be done with the same tool that is used to reset the fault ligfht. Is this so? Is a reasonably priced tool that will do both available?

First what year is it? Auto zone should be able to clear it for you.

 

1990 model 55 wagon

 

???? What is a 55 wagon in 1990. It would have to be a 240 or 740 in the US. Not sure about out of the us though.

 

I think a 55 is a 2005 V50 sportwagon.

 

So, first, we still need the year of your 850. Kind of necessary to start the trouble shooting.
