Good evening!
I just washed my Dad's 1994 850 Volvo and now it won't start...he thinks I have to reset the code for the radio...I have the code but the book is no where to be found...of course it is Saturday night and there are no Volvo dealerships open...can anyone help me out?
I did wash the engine but kept most if not all the electrical items clean and dry...any suggestions?

Most likely you filled the spark plug holes with water and thats why it won't start.

 

All you have to do to reset the radio code is while the key is on and it is reading code, punch in the 4 numbers on the radio preset buttons. However, the radio code should have nothing to do with the car not starting.
