Question Confused with T5/Glt

Hello, I'm considering buying a 1994 T5 850. Can someone explain the differences between this and the glt? I am confused about the badging and different packages. thanks

GLT is non turbo 2.4L engine.

in 94 it is a N/A..
94 volvo didnt label them T-5 BTW they were just labled Turbo if there is a T-5 badge on it, its not original

Volvo didnt rename it the T-5 until 97..

But a 94 glt is a NON turbo

l see, did not know that. always thought the GLT was always the light pressured. thanks for the clue.

LOL I got into it one day with a guy, I told him a GLT isnt turbo I owned one i know... He was like "come here and look at this". "what is that?"

It was a turbo.... LMAO That was the day I learned in 97 the GLT's became turbo.

That's the problem I have with Volvo. I have a ton of experience with other manufacturers of vehicles but it's those little quirks that make me double check a lot of stuff I think is written in stone. That and engineers who like to change things just because they can. Like the PCV system. Who the hell ever thought that was a good idea
