Default Control Arms: Do I need OEM?

Just bought my first Volvo (96', 850, 72K). Need to replace control arms & s/b links. I notice that FCP/GROTON offers 2 choices
for the 'arms ( each with bushings, hardware, ball joints) , $65 hamburg technic / $105 volvo. Has anyone been disappointed
with non-volvo control arms?

Go with QBM. Slater might not respond in a timely manner he is dealing with some stuff. Just deal with it.

The Hamburg Technic ones are very good replacements. The only thing bad is the finish but that does not affect the durability. As far as I know, the QBM control arms with the QBM Delrin bushings are recoated HT arms.

I appears that the QBM arms/bushings page has been temporarily removed. They are working on a re-design of the bushings due to squeeking.

QBM products are high in quality. However, the Delrin bushings do require some maintenance to prevent squeeking. But the better handling is worth it.

I purchased from FCP/Groton and am very satisfied. I had the control arms installed at SEARS and they work fine. Been on the car a little over one year. 1995 850 Turbo.

Many thanks to everyone for your opinions & advice. Don't know which road I'll take yet but some of the potholes have been filled in!
Hope I can return the favor and help out in some way. Don't know too much about working on a Volvo yet but my teenager driving it will make sure I do!!! Thanks again !
