Wow FCP vs. OEM big price difference! But is there really any difference aside from the price??

Well with the lifetime warranty why not get the cheaper one. IMO of they are scan tech ones I would run away as fast as you can.

If you are handy why not fix your ABS module your self?

I checked IPD also. IPD says theirs are purchased from APA (URO). Not Scantech. FCPGRoton emailed says theirs are from URO (Sweden made).

I have head of the cheapies failing in a year... watch out...

Also that lifetime warrenty is only if a machanic puts it in for you. No shadetree'ers

You still get what you pay for I'm pretty sure...

I have URO's on my Platinum, about 5 months.

(1)Very bad bolts, aka made in china, were supplied from FCP. Ball joint bolt stripped like cutting butter. Told FCP, they offered to send new bolts, I put the originals back in(i needed the car). FCP said they'd use different bolts.

(2) lock rub plate rivet fell out, had to tap and screw.

(3) I was under the car the other day and rubber boots are cracking

Does anyone know where I can get good replacement rubber boots?

I have scantechs on my NA and no problems but haven't used it much.

Website says if you put the part on yourself, and you are not ase, you can pay 10% of part price to get the lifetime warranty.

hurm.... didn't read that part...

Not a bad deal i guess.

But rather then replace the part every year~ish, i'd rather replace it with something decent for a higher price... Time = Money. especially mine.

Yeah I'd rather spend more money on a quality part. Agreed - Time = Money!! That's for sure! Heard these ones made by Meyle Heavy Duty got some good reviews.

I have had to warranty a ton of scan tech ones. Also had to replace a set of scan techs on my own car.

What did you replace yours with? Just out of curiosity what goes bad on the scan techs?

The ball joints go bad the most. But on my car the bushings went bad on one of them.
