My son's '95 creaks and groans fron the undercarriage when the car de-weights, goes over speed bumps or hits small road dips like manhole covers. I replaced one of the upper strut bushings that was shot, but it only cured the biggest noise. The car tracks well, does not have any front-end vibrations, etc. Anyone have any experience with making an old 850's suspension quieter? What do you think would be the most likely culprits? Sway bars, shocks, bushings, etc?

Check the sway bar links next. With the car safely on jackstands pull on the sway bar and feel for play on the ends at the links.
