I was washing my car today and I sat down in the rear cargo area and heard a creaking/grinding noise from either side of the rear end on the 97 R wagon. You guys have any ideas? I do need to change the rear pads but don't think that is it.

you need to lose weight. LOL seriously though, thats probably suspension bushings or spring seats groaning back there.

I was only kidding about the fat part, man. Hopefully it's nothing serious. That's what was squeaking on mine, anyway. My wife made it squeak, and shes 110 lbs.
