This may be a dumb question, but should the clock, below the speedometer, light up when I turn on the lights? I have a 97 na sedan

I forgot ...... there are two different manufacturers of the instrument panels and the bulbs of one might be different than the other.

Here is a pic. There are dozens of pics of dash on YouTube with people driving at night.

The bulb in the clock/temp display looks more like this in my VDO cluster:

yah the tip/clock area in 850's are b8.5d bulbs.. The only ones that actually work well are blue, green, or white.. Red and amber are too dim

Ill be selling a LED dash kit at the end of next month that will include all the switch bulbs, the cluster, the climate control with a option for the radio..
