Dash lights problem
So I have seen this posted a few times already, but there doesn't seem to be anyone who has offered a solution, or described their fix. My 850's instrument panel lights arent working. Not just the instrument panel, but any light on the #35 fuse. The fuse isn't blown because the sunroof still works, and i know that the lights arent out because they will suddenly come on every now and then. The first night this happened, they just blinked for the longest time. Now I very rarely see them come on. They do tend to flash once on startup. Also, the dimmer switch will dim the lights when they are on. Everything else works fine though. My headlights come on as well. I just have no idea how fast im going at night, which could turn out to be an expensive problem.

RE: Dash lights problem
Quick suggestion.....
Remove the headlight switch and the dimmer switch from the dash and check the connector on the back of each one to be sure it is fully seated. If it is, I would then take the connector off, clean the contacts on the switch and then re-connnect the connector. Sometimes dirty contacts or loose connections cause the problem you are describing.
To remove the switches, just take a small flat blade screwdriver and pry them out. Use some cardboard under the screwdriver to prevent scratching the plastic.
Hope this helps.
