Default Door keeps opening while driving

Ok lately while I'm driving my door keeps rattling loose i guess you could say so the alarm keeps going off the lights come on and I get the beeping has anyone had this problem? If so how did you fix it? I think it might be a faulty latch but figured I would ask before going and buying a new one

Default Door problems

Hmm...naturally, you would suspect a faulty latch, and that is what i would think the problem was, but you should ask rspi, he probably would know best.

LOL, if the door isn't coming open you likely have a relay problem. Is the door coming open/ajar? If not, and it's still shut tight, google "Volvo 850 door chime" and see what you come up with.

Like a hood a door will have two positions. Usually if it latches flush on the outside it's not going to open. You might only need to adjust the striker as it might not be closing far enough for the latch to latch fully.

This might help:
