Let me say first that I already changed the batteries.
I took the dash pad off to fix the odometer, could I have left something unhooked? Give me your thoughts?
Gary
PS- I have to give props to Tech for actually fixing my odometer. This dude is just a good guy, period.

Does the LED on the Dash flash when you lock it with the key?
If so then try to reprogram it.
Turn the key on and off 5 times on the 5th time leave the key on. The led on the Dash should either just light up or it should flash(I think it flashes) Then hit a button on the remote watch the light I think it will light solid to tell you it programmed it. Then remove the key and test it.
If you have 2 remotes then you have to do both at the same time. Meaning when you push one button and see the Led do its thing leave the key on and hit the button on the second remote.

My dad took it to the dealer this week who said he is charging $75 to look into the problem and reprogram itwhich I think is preposterous, but we don't really know what the issue is here.
Is there a remote we can buy that is not made by Volvo that we can program for cheaper?
