driver side wiper arm swings too far and hits other blade
Hi all
My driver side blade froze to the wind shield and the passenger arm swung through one rotation before I turned off the wipers.
I then unstuck the driver side from the windshield, but now the drivers side will swing too low form time to time and they will collide sometimes.
The passenger arm actually snapped the driver side blade off while drive in a snow storm... not good. Had to drive several miles without the driver side blade.
How can I get the driver side arm back to normal operation?

The arm will move but from time to time, it swings too low and then it will hit the passenger one. When the wiper is off, I can move the drivers side blade up or down a bit to get it to a good starting position, but it eventually will swing either too low or to far off the side of the windshield.

That's a dangerous situation. Within an hour of buying my 96 850GLT I was crossing a very long bridge in very heavy rain, and the blades became crossed. I managed to get to an exit and pull into a gas station, but the damage was already done. The passenger side wiper is unresponsive. I have yet to open it to see whether the transmission is fried, but my hopes are not high.
