Default driver side wiper goes to far

Had my wiper replaced by the dealer on my 2004 xc70. It now hits the car frame everytime it comes up. I checked the bolt under the cover and it is tight. Any suggestions? The dealer is over an hour away, so I don't want to bring it back. help? thanks!

Loosen the nut and adjust the position. You will have to push on the arm after loosening the nut to adjust it.

that's kind of what I thought, but wasn't sure. Do I just push on the arm or do I have to pull it off that bolt before I move it?

Loosen nut most of the way. Then push the arm down till you feel it come loose then slide it to where you want it then tighten the nut.

i loosened the nut, but when I push on the arm it won't move, actually both arms move when I push on the driver side, but just slightly and the actual position is not changing. Is it just stuck on there or am I doing something wrong??

The stud is coned shaped. You need to push the arm down towards the windsheild. Not try to rotate it. Once you press it straight down it should come loose.Push by the hinge part.
