I went to the pull a part over the weekend, and picked up a drivers door handle assembly.

I enjoyed rekeying the tumbler to match my key. It was pretty easy.

In the process of removing the original handle from the door of my car, I did things out of order, failing to remove the lock cylinder before removing the handle itself.

Because of this boneheaded move, I believe I broke something in the lock section of the latch assembly.

I took the door apart, and was able to get the latch/actuator part out of the door. I'm referring to the part that the outside and inside handles pull the open the door, as well as the part the post off the lock cylinder pushes into to unlock the door.

There's a white plastic sleeve of sorts that the post on the end of the lock cylinder slides into, and turns to unlock the door. Mine came apart. It appears to be 2 pieces. I put them back together, but I'm not 100% sure I put them together *right*.

Does anyone have a photo of this part? Or a diagram? I'd like to see how it's all supposed to work together. Perhaps I damaged the plastic parts, and need to order some bits or hit the pull a part again and grab more bits.
