The drivers door actuator has gone bad on my 2000S-80. I got the new part and started removing the old actuator and ran into a problem. There is a guide for the window that the actuator is under. The bottom of the guide is attached with arivet, but I can't get to the top of the guide to remove whatever is holding it in place. Do I have to remove this guide or will the actuator slide by it? I am also having problems removing the wire from the actuator. Does anyone have anything to show me how to remove this?

 

Did you drill hte rivet out?
If not you need to.
