Electric seat issues!~
1995 850- NA.
Well, it rained and I left the sunroof open...so, I put the drivers seat in full recline to get the junction of seat and backrest dry...It spent the day like that...nice and dry. BUT, now I can't get the seat backrest up from recline. Moving the switch gives me a click and slight buzz...no movement either way. I read in the Haynes that the motor is IN the backrest, under the fabric and foam.. I did a fault check (as per book) and it's result said " Position signal sensor, motor 2, absent or faulty". MAN...I can't drive another day like this. Is it the motor or something else. In the ole days, you hit the motor with a hammer and it would 'wake up'...can't even do it...it's buried under the cover....
