My car tends to lock itself sporadically, sometimes while driving, locking itself 5-10 times. It sometimes goes away, other times it comes back within minutes.

Sometimes the red light on the dash will flash while this occurs, others not.

One time I started the car that the hazard lights were on, not flashing, just on, and the only way to fix it was to remove the anti-theft relay under the dash.

I obviously have some sort of short, can I run the car without that relay, I haven't tried.

Any other suggestions?
