Default anti-theft lock

My 1998 Volvo S70 turbo is stuck with the anti-theft alarm engaged and the car won't fire up. The volvo mechanic said that I needed to turn the key on the drivers side two times to the left, all four doors would automatically open (as usual) and that would dis-engaged the alarm. However, the function that opens all the doors is not working.

How do you get the 4 doors to open as designed? Or is there another way to dis-engaged the alarm so that the car can been turned on?

Hi and welcome to the site.

Lock and unlock the drivers door. Sticky's are your friend.

The other locks are likely broken. It's a very common problem with S/V70's.

Yea that's also possible 2 of my locks are no longer working on mine. And I've already replaced them once.
