Default Evap Emission Leak - Smell coming from here

I've been plagued for a while by an evap emissions leak, first small, now large (according to OBDII scanner) I've read about a lot of the common places that these vehicles tend to have their evap emissions leaks. My sniffer (nose) has detected a strong gas smell in the area shown in the photo, right in the center of the photo is the strongest). It stinks like gas inside of the car when started. Any idea what I should be checking/looking for in this area?

If it is leaking there it might be an injector. The evap system is not connected there.

I would agree with the tech administrator. That top 3 inch wide aluminum trim cover pulls up and off & snaps back in place and that will give you a better view of each fuel injector underneath. If you run the engine at this point any leaky injector should be visible with that trim cover removed. You can try reseating the fuel injectors if you are comfortable with removal and replacement of the fuel rail assembly. The whole rail actually rotates upward after you unseat the injectors from the bottom side only. If you pull gently from the drivers side to the passenger side losening each injector from its seat respectivley while holding the top of each injector between your fingers to keep that end seated. Once you have all 5 injectors loose on the bottom end you can rotate the rail upwards as the metal piping on the passenger side is fitted with an O-ring into the rail. Careful not to loose any washers or spacers if you try to pull the fuel injector out and reseat it. There are little spacers in the top part of each injector.
