My 850 has 180K and has developed some new noises that I would like to ask you guys about before taking it to the shop. When the car is making slow, sharp turns there is a clicking noise coming from the front end, both left and right depending on which way it is being steered. Does something need to be lubricated? Also, the exhaust is very loud, coming from the middle of the car. Does this suggest exhaust manifold, muffler? Your help is greatly appreciated. thanx.

 

The clicking sounds like bad axles.

The exhaust noise might be a bad pipe in the exhaust.
