have done a search, and looked thru the resource links, my apologies if im blind. how the heck do i get to the factory amp? im installing a clarion head unit, and have to bypass the amplifier with the harness crutchfield provided. the guy on their support line said its in a compartment on the passenger side of the center console, but i see one solid piece.

do i just remove the entire console, or can somebody snap a quick pic of where im supposed to be lookin?

oh, and its a 95 T5-R, factory unit says ' premium ' something or other on it.

 

hah, nevermind, found it. gotta pull back the friggin carpet, but i found it! also, figured out i couldnt find the right connectors because there was friggin self-adheasive foam hiding it. all is well

 

I was going to say... :-) ...Its right there! You dont even have to use it, the harness is designed to just unplug so if you run into input trouble you can bypass it.
