Default Fan not working in rain

I have a 1993 850, that has a strange problem. The A/C fan motor stops running when raining. I've taken the Volvo to the dealership and I've been told the service module does not show any codes and the dealership can not find any problems with the system. The A/C works fine when it is not raining. Is there a ground wire attached to the fan motor that could be causing the fan motor to quit when raining? any recommandations?

That is correct, the blower motor stops working. I can feel the A/C from the vents, but the fan does not work when raining.

Do you know if the recirc is working?
Does any of the lights flash when it doesn't work?

The recirc appears to be working and I have not noticed any lights flashing.

I was asking about the recirc because soemtimes the arm will break and then some rain water will get in there and cause problems.

The only other thing I can suggest is to get in there and start looking for traces of water.
Alot of times if water gets in there you can see marks on the resistor from where the water was.
