Exclamation Fan Relay Plug Removal

The middle plug (in) on my radiator fan relay refuses to come free from the relay. Is there any release tab or something holding it in other than the big obvious one? Thanks for any input!

Do you have silicone spray? Do you have set of pliers?

Yes to both. Just douse it in silicone WD-40 and pull with pliers?

Pull the release tab back with your thumb and then wiggle the connector. I find it to be much easier to remove the connectors after the relay has been removed. The relay slides out by pulling it back toward the engine. There is a tab molded into the fan shroud that keeps it in place but a good yank will get the relay past that tab.

Thanks for the tip! A few liberal applications of silicone WD-40 and some pliers got it right out.
