Default First Repair

I have a 1995 850turbo with 132,000miles on it.

I noticed a couple weeks ago a puddle near the front passenger tire. The puddle was green so my guess is that its antifreeze. I'm pretty sure I found the source of the leak. It's the tube directly underneath the coolant resevoir. I went to advanced auto parts today and bought 2ft. of 5/-8ths tubing. I also bought a Haynes repair manual for the 850, but it doesn't really go in detail about my problem. Has anyone else here had the same problem? I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes.

It's probably just a cracked hose or bad clamp. Just make sure the hose you bought is a proper hose for coolant.

Don't hesitate to shop online for an exact replacement hose - it's worth the few extra bux. FCP Groton and eEuroparts are cheap & fast. IPD isn't bad on price, either.

You just don't want to get any old hose that could expand or wear extremely fast because of the high temps and what not of the coolant/engine.

+1, except the services at eEuro seems to have gone way south. I would go with FCP Groton.

Well, It was the hoses and the expansion tank. The plastic around where the hoses connect is all cracked. I ordered new hoses and tank off IPD for about 40 bucks.

I ordered parts from FCP Groton (10% off sale thru 9/30). I received the package 2 days later - free 1-3 day shipping for a minimum $ order. They are awesome.
