Default Flame trap dripping oil.

95- 850 NA. I see that my starter is getting soaked with oil. The oil is dripping from my flame trap unit. the thing that goes into the intake...with the plastic screen inside. I did a full PCV (oil separated, etc.) change last year with new parts. It dripped then, drips now. What next to fix in order to stop this?

Whatever connection it is leaking from, is not sealed well. I had to add a small piece of hose between the hard pipe and the flame trap to get mine to fit tightly.

Have you cleaned the flame trap since you installed it?

And did you make sure the ports into the engine were open so the oil that gets separated drains back into the engine and doesn't just accumulate into the separator until it's full ??
