I found this 97 page full color gem at my local swap shop today. It was put out by Road And Track and is dated 1992. It cost $5.95 when new. It basically covers the whole history of Vovlo, the thought process of this car and tons of pictures. This is not just a brochure it is a magazine devoted to just the 1993 850. Really cool! It is excellent shape too!

There is one section called "The Volvos we grew up with" and has great history and better pictures. If you are a Volvo history buff this is for you and the cost??.....FREE! Hell, I don't even own a Volvo anymore- I went to the Saab darkside! I was going to put it on Ebay but I knew someone on this forum would enjoy this. If you want it let me know by replying to this on the forum- 1st come 1st served. I will ask for $5 by Paypal to cover packaging shipping and me dragging my butt to the post office.

I wanted it too, but am happy to know that Tech's got it. Tech is the United States' Volvo representative IMO.

Dont know much about my 850 or tinkered with it that much yet but i find myself on this forum as well as volvospeed most of the time.I learn a FEW things everyday here thanks to the great moderators and others.

 

Boy! If I had known it was going to be that popular I would have started a bidding war for it! When I had my Volvo this board helped me a few times so I thought it was a way to payback for the help. Wish I had a copy for all!
